Dr. Bernick completed his undergraduate education at Northwestern University and received his medical degree from The University of Chicago Medical School. He completed his residency at Pennsylvania Hospital of The University of Pennsylvania where he received specialized training in the areas of obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Bernick is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Bernick has practiced in the Palm Beach County area along with his wife Dr. Beth Familant Bernick, providing the latest advances in both obstetric and gynecologic care. Dr. Bernick has developed the reputation of providing personalized care, taking the time to care for each and every patient the "old-fashioned way" where the doctor still wears a tie, meets with you in his office before
being examined and makes himself available for deliveries - providing "VIP" medical services without the extra fees. Dr. Bernick's commitment to women's health has garnered him numerous distinctions and honors including serving as the immediate past Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boca Raton Community Hospital. Dr. Bernick and was the national recipient of the American Medical Association's Physician Leadership Award and has been a featured expert in numerous television programs and newspaper publications. Dr. Bernick's interests include normal and complicated obstetrics, infertility, menopausal management, and same-day/outpatient surgery. Dr. Bernick cares for women of all ages from teenagers to senior care.
Bradley S. Douglas, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
For two decades Bradley S. Douglas, M.D., board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist has served the greater community in private practice in the same Boca Raton office location. With over two decades of experience including mastering the latest obstetrical and gynecologic surgical techniques; he is skilled at performing minimally invasive surgery utilizing advanced laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and laser methodology. Many of his patients benefit from outpatient procedures without having to stay overnight at the hospital and without prolonged or disabling recoveries. Dr. Douglas is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and a Kennedy Scholar of the Cleveland
Clinic of Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Douglas completed his Ob/Gyn training through the Medical College of Virginia Hospital. Dr. Douglas is active in educating the public and medical communities and has served on numerous medical advisory boards and hospital committees including past Chairman of the Ob/Gyn Department at Boca Raton Community Hospital and past President of the Palm Beach Ob/Gyn Society. Dr. Douglas also founded and directs the colposcopy clinic at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Douglas feels sincerely privileged to take care of the growing families in our community. Dr. McCormick has been an Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Boca Raton, Florida for close to twenty-five years. He has practiced general Obstetrics and Gynecology with a strong interest in abnormal vaginal bleeding. He has done a large number of uterine ablative procedures for abnormal bleeding. This minor surgery is done as an outpatient and the patient is usually able to return to her normal activities the next day. This allows many women to avoid the much more invasive and painful abdominal hysterectomy surgery. He also has an extensive background in Obstetrics and has delivered thousands of healthy babies. Dr. McCormick went to Emory University where he graduated Magna Cum Laud in chemistry. His medical training was at University of Miami School
of Medicine and his residency was at Jackson Memorial Hospital's prestigious Ob/Gyn program.
Gail Pezzullo-Burgs, M.D., F.A.C.O.G..
Dr. Gail Pezzullo-Burgs has been a practicing Obstetrician/Gynecologist for 21 years. After receiving her M.D. from the University of Miami in 1983, Dr. Pezzullo-Burgs completed her four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. She has been in private practice in Broward County since 1987, starting in Pembroke Pines and later in Sunrise and Plantation. In 2004 she expanded her practice to Palm Beach County in Boca Raton. She currently has 2 offices-Boca Raton and Plantation. Dr. Pezzullo-Burgs is board certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Before medical school, Dr. Pezzullo-Burgs received B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut. She subsequently completed a one year residency in Hospital Pharmacy at Yale New Haven Hospital.
A native of Connecticut, she move to Florida in 1978 to escape the cold weather and accepted a position as Hospital Pharmacist and eventually Assistant Director of Pharmacy at what is now Memorial Hospital Pembroke. In the past four years, Dr. Pezzullo-Burgs has undergone extensive training in Aesthetic Medicine. She can now offer her expertise in Laser Hair Removal, Botox, Cosmetic Fillers, Sclerotherapy, Photo Rejuvenation and Non-Ablative Skin Resurfacing and Skin Tightening. As this is an exciting and ever-growing field, she continues to learn new skills and add new cosmetic services. Married for 28 years and a mother of four, she spends most of her free time attending her children's swim meets, soccer games, dive meets and orchestra concerts. She also enjoys hosting gourmet dinner parties, traveling and exercising.
Terrence W. Harris, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Harris received his undergraduate degree from Oberlin College in Ohio. After earning his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine, he moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where he completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, the training center for the Washington University School of Medicine. He then earned his Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and became a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Harris has been in private practice in South Florida since 2002, first in Coral Springs, now in Boca Raton. His practice interests include minimally-invasive hysteroscopic surgery, including treatments for abnormal bleeding and the Essure procedure,
a permanent form of birth control that does not involve incisions. For his pregnant patients, Dr. Harris prides himself on being available for their deliveries, providing the personal, individualized pregnancy care often lacking in modern medical practice.
Ben S. Kennedy, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Kennedy founded this group and practiced in the Boca Raton area continuously for 30 years delivering thousands of babies and establishing the foundation of the practice. Dr Kennedy retired in 2005 and his presence is missed by both his patients and colleagues, although his compassion and integrity has been mirrored by the physicians of the practice.
